LIARS!

I have been told over, and over again, that I could look forward to a lovely rain free summer here in WA.

That seems to be a matter of interpretation...what is considered "summer" out here?

Late July- early Sept.

So for two months out of the year TOPS I can expect it not to rain.

Yay.

"But it's so green out here" they say as if that makes the constant drizzle O.K.

Dude, I'm from the South were it's just as green with 1/4 of the rain fall. You're going to have to do better than that, if you expect to me to be O.K with this deal.

Today was a group run, and it was raining. Again.
I wasn't sure if anyone would show up, since most of the group just finished their marathon and are still in the recovery phase, but I figured if they didn't I still needed to run and the change of seinery would be- well, different.

Turns out there were a couple of people there and ready to run! We even decided to do the regular loop in reverse so I could work in some hills. Hey! The Bear is sneaking up and I don't want another bust on my record this year! I also dont' want to injure myself running it, so Bring Me Hills!!!

It was a fun run, I have no idea what pace we ran it in because I forgot to check my watch and haven't down loaded my training log from the Garmin yet.

Yeah, I'm trying to focus back on intervals to get my hill climbing in decent shape. Not sure about the altitude though.
