It's SOUP time!

There's this thing called Soup Swaphttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif where you make 3-6 quarts of a soup that can be frozen and then invite all your friends over with THEIR soup (and some figure foods) and then it's trading time! Everyone picks a number to decide what order you get to pick your soups and it's totally awesome!

I also made the delicious Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins/cupcakes.

They are delicious!
I sadly managed to drop a full muffin pan upside down onto the oven door. Don't worry I saved them and since I wanted to, I'm totally still eating them.

These are all the containers of soup ready to find their new homes! I made Elk Chili to trade and got Carrot Coconut Cream Soup, A Cream South Western, Beef and Barley stew, an Oriental Beef Noodle, Broccoli Cream soup and a Potato Leek Soup!

This isn't the soup I swapped but it's delicious! I made it for Jason because he's on a "lower carb" diet. It's called Seafood Chowder. I don't think he liked it, based on the fact that he ate one bowl and then changed to the Asparagus Leek Soup I had made the day before. But LOVE it! It reminds me o9spf the 7 Sea Seafood Soup I've eaten at Mexican Restaurants. Minus the baby Octopi(sp)?

I have such a good time at Soup Swap. They're SO much fun! It's a bunch of food, fun and talking.
