She would sell me out for a chocolate bar

It's rained pretty much everyday for the last two weeks and according to the weather report we can look forward to more of the same.

Oh, the lovely winter weather in the Pacific Northwest!

On the bright side, so long as you don't mind being wet, cold and smelling slightly musty you can run pretty much all winter out here.

But today there was real sunshine!

I raced yesterday and Fridays are technically my "rest and recovery" day but when Amy said she was up for a nice easy run today I jumped at it:)

It's great having a running buddy that's as crazy about running as I am.

Seriously though, a good running partner is worth their weight in GOLD.
It's hard to find someone who can push you either on your pace, distance or just motivation without getting on your nerves during those 3+ hour long runs:)

(Or 15 hour car rides)

We went crazy today and did our normal Lake Loop the opposite direction than we normally run it. I even took Grace with us. We stopped in the store and were giant dorks over a reflective hat and then ran the last two miles back to the cars.

It was great! No goals, just running easy and talking.

These blog posts are my favorite ones ever. :)

Plus they make me feel better about being a total stalker.

And I would sell you out for a candy bar.

But I'd probably regret it.

Depends on what kind of candy bar it was.

Man, I would love to have a good running partner! I have one or two, but none that I can just call and be like "hey, let's run!". The nice, slow talking runs are my favorite.
