No pressure I just have a race tomorrow.

Last year I ran a fun local race called Santa Runs Tacoma with a bunch of friends and this year I plan to repeat the fun!

Tomorrow we well be waking up early, driving up to a city with poor parking and running up hills as fast as we can:)

Then I will need some hot chocolate.

I know I'm not as fast as I was at this time last year, so instead of quitting before I begin I have given myself a little montra...

"This isn't for a PR, it's to get a new base pace so I can be more awesome for my marathon"

True it's not catchy and doesn't really roll off the tongue  but I think it gets to the point.

I seem to have the sad habit of not trying if I don't think I can win...against myself, or agains my age division...which means I don't give it my best. Which is just sad.

I need to work on that.

That mantra sounds familiar.. ;)

Good luck tomorrow! I'm sure with a positive attitude positive things will happen!
