I just had the best run tonight!

I love it when that happens, and when it's not just because I'm in a good mood and am willing to over look that I didn't make pace:)

Amy and I have officially started our 5k training program for Santa Runs Tacoma and by "officially" I mean Bill told us we should still be recovering from our marathon:)

Our training plan called for us to run 7 miles total tonight.
1 Warmup mile
2 at Short Tempo (7:15)
1 easy pace (8:50)
2 at Short Tempo (7:15)
and a nice easy cool down mile.

I did it, I did it! I really really, did it!
(Amy and I watched Kid History Episode 6 on youtube while we were in Utah and it was awesome)

A lovely warmup mile, followed by a 7:40 average up the icky ol' Deschutes hill
then 7:07, with a super easy mile, after which we booked it with a 7:17 & 7:07 average for the last two Tempo miles.

And the best part?

I didn't feel like I was going to die!

What was the best run you can remember doing and why was it awesome?
I still remember the first time I made it up this horrid hill in my neighborhood back in was a lot like Deschutes...never ending. I can home and made everyone listen to me tell them how I didn't have to stop and walk once. And they all pretended to care:)

That does sound good! Also, I have upgraded bandwidth, so find a time to test skype with me.

Henry was singing the "I did it" song after he went pee-pee in the potty. It was awesome.
