Whew!

It was a busy, busy week!

I signed the lease on a new apartment. This is very exciting to me. I think that having my own place will really be good for me mentally.

Plus, it will take a lot of pressure off Chrissy and Josh because our schedules weren't really that convenient to them. Now I'll be able to get myself too and from all my stuff.

Tempo on Wednesday was interesting.

I forgot to write down my workout so I texted Chrissy to look and see what I was supposed to run.

...2 miles? That's not enough!?

1 mile warm up, 2 miles at short tempo (6:53) 1 mile cool down...

Training for a 5k is so weird.

I hit the first mile goal with a 6:52, but fell off pace for the 2nd with a 7:07. I think it was due to trying to do math in my head while I ran. Nothing good comes out of it.

Then I caught a cold.

I will run through pretty much anything, but I could feel it moving into my chest so I skipped my "long run" of a whopping 5 miles (WEIRD)!
I did still run 3.75 miles at Priest Point Park with Kathy and when I got home I was ready for a nap.

I was going to stand up, but then I looked down and thought..."hmm. It think sitting is just fine".
Grace gleefully running through the mud. She wasn't as gleeful when she was getting a bath.

I finished this little gem for Chrissy...
Yep! it's a pumpkin hat!

I pick the keys to my new place at the end of the week, as well as have an interview for a permanent position.

I also found out that I am now eligible for health and dental through the state which is AWESOME!

Today was absolutely gorgeous and Chrissy and I went geocaching today and found SIX geocaches!

Coolest cache ever
